Jonathon N. Fazzola
ATTORNEY
Jonathon N. Fazzola focuses his nationwide practice on representing victims and the families of victims catastrophically injured or killed as a result of hazing, gun violence, sexual assault, other violent crimes, and third-party negligence. Through his work, Mr. Fazzola has recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients and has sought and secured enforceable concessions from institutions designed to make them better managed, safer, and more transparent about the risks they pose to the public.
Notably, as lead counsel, Mr. Fazzola obtained a $6.1 million wrongful death verdict on behalf of Stephen and Rae Ann Gruver, whose son, Max, tragically died in 2017 after being subjected to hazing by members of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Louisiana State University. The verdict is one of the largest ever recorded in Louisiana for the wrongful death of a child.
In addition to his catastrophic injury and wrongful death practice, Mr. Fazzola has represented and advised corporate clients in complex commercial and compliance-related matters.
Before joining The Fierberg National Law Group, Mr. Fazzola practiced for five years in the Chicago office of the international law firm Latham & Watkins LLP, and one year as a bilingual staff attorney with the Family Defense Center in Chicago.
Prior to law school, Mr. Fazzola served as a Community Economic Development Consultant with the U.S. Peace Corps in the Republic of Panama.
