Can a school be held liable if the abuser was another student?
Yes. If the school knew or should have known about a threat and failed to take reasonable action, or if it fostered a hostile environment that allowed the assault to occur, it can be held legally responsible for the harm you suffered.
What if the school made me sign something or offered a settlement?
