Two College Students Raped at a Fraternity in Georgia

School Violence Law represented two college students raped at a fraternity house that previously been subjected to investigation after one member’s email describing women as “rape bait” became public.  Suit was filed against the national and local fraternity, and the local fraternity’s motion to dismiss the claim against it was denied.  Discovery revealed numerous misogynistic internal fraternity documents, including documents stating that “rape is good.”  The case was resolved by a substantial financial settlement.
