In October, a judge ruled that Curtis must pay $1.8 million dollars in damages to the victim he sexually assaulted. On Wednesday, the teen's attorney, Monica Beck, told 24 Hour News 8 they are still working to collect that money. Beck said Candace Curtis' bankruptcy filing has created a "small delay" in doing so.
