Four women’s soccer players at Butler University are suing over claims that ex-assistant athletic trainer Michael Howell sexually abused, harassed, and groomed them. As senior associate athletic director, Reiff was tasked with overseeing Howell. The players also allege that Reiff’s negligent supervision allowed Howell to sexually abuse them and that he failed to implement any policies or procedures that could have safeguarded them.
